Tiger Studios bio picture

Hi, my name is Ryan Tamayo and thanks for visiting my website. Tiger Studios was started July of 2010, when my son was born. I've loved photography since I was a little kid and turned my attention to videography to capture footages of my son as he grows up. I am married to my best friend who supports me every step of the way. My wife and I are both registered nurses by night and full-time parents to Jayden and a baby girl, Arianna Paris.

My passion is family portraits and wedding videography. Capturing the innocence of a child on film is one of my favorites. I love capturing couples on what is the happiest day of their lives, their wedding day. A wedding film can offer different aspects of the special day that pictures cannot provide. I am based out of Roseville, CA but I can travel to any NorCal location to capture any wedding videography needs.

Pearl and Patrick had their ceremony at Devine Mercy Catholic Church in Natomas. Wedding was super early at 10 am. Their reception was held at Arden Hills Country Club. Saw a lot of familiar faces at her wedding as Pearl went to the same high school as I did, Bear Creek High School in Stockton, CA. Also her mom was familiar to me as she was a frequent costumer at my aunt’s filipino store in Stockton.

I met the couple last year at a local coffee shop in Fremont, CA just before I had to shoot another wedding that afternoon. A year later with hand written vows on their hands, Vanessa and Jimmy got married under a gazebo at Heather Farms Garden in Walnut Creek, CA. A childhood friend of Jimmy had the honor of officiating the emotional ceremony. It seems that they are the perfect match to each other. Each balances the other one out. They met each other through the internet despite only living a few minutes away from each other. It was a pleasure filming the wedding of two down to earth individuals out there. Congrats Vanessa & Jimmy!

Annielyn and Jeremie got married locally here in Roseville at the Adventure Christian Church. It was probably the most guests I’ve seen at a ceremony, about 200 people showed up I think. Their reception was held at the Citrus Heights Community Center.

Jeremie got very emotional when he first laid eyes on Annielyn walking down the aisle. She was given away by her brother and her mother. Annielyn lost her father just weeks before her wedding day. During her speech at the reception, she felt that her dad was also walking her down the aisle. Notice when she is dancing with her brother at the reception, she is also dancing with her father. She was tearing up during that dance.

Thanks to Don Usog again for working my extra camera.

DANIELLE & NATE | 08.25.2012 | Campbell, CA

I initially met Danielle from another wedding I filmed this year. She was Jessica’s makeup artist at her wedding in Los Altos Hills back in May. She liked Jessica and Adam’s highlight film that she wanted one of her own. Well a few months later, there I was filming her on perhaps the most important day of her young life, her wedding day. From the speeches that their family and friends gave that day, sounds like they found the perfect partner for each other. Very nice couple indeed!

I hope you enjoy their highlight video. If you like the video, please don’t forget to “like” my page at Facebook.com/TigerStudios.

Special thanks to Anthony Gines and Don Usog for helping out with the other cameras.

CRISTINA & VAO | 09.01.2012 | TURLOCK, CA

I had the pleasure of filming Cristina and Vao’s wedding in Turlock, CA at the Pageo Lavender Farm. Cristina, her mom and her son drove about 2 hrs and met me last year during the holiday season at a local coffee shop here in Roseville, CA. Never met Vao before but I’ve seen them through the beautiful engagement and family pictures that Alicia Gines Photography had done for them.

The wedding itself was very fun to say the least. She is of Hispanic descent and he’s of Samoan descent. Vao’s cousin, Troy Lepisi, sang during the ceremony. That guy has one of the best voices i’ve heard ever! The performances during the reception was very entertaining also.

It was my pleasure working with Alicia Gines Photography again and Don Usog for helping me out with a second camera.
